Our Vision: NY seeks to be a safe place where youth from the Three Rivers Region are welcomed and loved into a closer relationship with Jesus and others.
Students in Grades 6-12 meet on Wednesday Nights from 6:00pm-8:00pm in the Youth Room above the Gym.
We meet in the Youth Room (above the gym) and dinner is provided! Enter through the gym on the north side of the building.

The Wenzek Family
Joshua and Alicia Wenzek met on Whidbey Island as teenagers and fell in love while working in youth ministry and farming together. They were married in 2009 and have enjoyed doing life together ever since! In 2014 God placed a newborn baby in their arms and through adoption Genesis became their son officially in 2016. Since then they have been foster parents for ten children in the area. They were initially drawn to Northlake Church because Joshua’s grandparents attended Northlake for nearly fifty years! Joshua came on as youth pastor here at Northlake Church in 2016 and has loved his role here in youth ministry. As well as youth pastoring, Joshua has also been the branch leader of a mission training organization designed to send out workers into the 10/40 window. Through this ministry they have been to Middle East Asia on several short-term trips along with many from the greater Longview area.
Some of their favorite activities include cooking, singing, camping, hiking, gardening and going to the beach. The Wenzek’s love being part this growing youth ministry at Northlake Church and desire each student to know that they are loved, valued and to find the full amazing life God has for them in relationship with Him and each other!
